Who built this
Michele Williams
Michele has spent 25 years inside the systems this program is about. She served as Chief of System Integration managing Washington, DC’s Continuum of Care portfolio, as Family Services Administrator for the DC Department of Human Services, and as a nonprofit board chair. She has been a HUD National Technical Assistance Provider since 2017. She knows what HMIS does to a case manager’s week because she has managed the case managers.
She came to AI the way most nonprofit leaders will have to: as an operator, not a technologist. She holds a Certificate in AI Leadership from Stanford Global and an AI Educator Certification, and she built MSWorx Learning because the AI training available to nonprofits was written by people who had never sat in a CoC meeting or explained to a board why a client’s story does not belong in a chatbot. She is also a Standards for Excellence® Licensed Consultant. Her position is simple: AI should return time to the mission and never put the people you serve at risk. This program is how she teaches leaders to hold both.

Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can write an email, you can do this program. Module 1 starts from zero and explains how these tools actually work before asking you to use one.
What if I miss a live session?
Both are recorded. But the sessions are where you get Michele's eyes on your actual work, so come if you can. Thursday, October 29 and Thursday, December 3, 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern.
Is my organization's data safe?
An entire module is about exactly that. You never upload client information in this program, and you learn how to make sure your staff never do either. The data safety audit is one of the first things you complete.
What tools do I need?
A free ChatGPT or Claude account is enough to start. Module 2 helps you choose which tool fits your organization and whether a paid tier is worth it for you.
How much time does it take?
About 30 hours over eight weeks. Most of it is work you would be doing anyway, done differently: your own time audit, a real workflow, your own policy.
Can my whole team join?
